Materials Analysis, Testing, and Characterization

Corrosion Testing

We have an array of equipment to test metal corrosion in different environments. Our facilities include dedicated systems such as a salt-spray testing chamber, a humidity cabinet, an immersion test chamber, and an electrochemical corrosion test work station (Princeton Applied Research VersaSTAT 3 potentiostat / galvanostat with a standard three electrode electrochemical cell). Additionally, we have instruments that complement corrosion testing, including optical microscopes, an X-ray diffractometer, magnetic/eddy current based thickness gauges, and an adhesion tester.

Corrosion Consulting / Failure Analysis

Our scientists and engineers are experienced in solving corrosion problems encountered in a variety of industries, such as aerospace, automotive, mobile computing, defense, oil and gas, power generation, water and waste water, and marine. We have an in-depth knowledge of several subjects needed to understand and control corrosion, including metallurgy, electrochemistry, and formulation of protective coatings.

Our expertise and state-of-the-art equipment enable us to satisfy all of your testing needs with excellent precision at a competitive price and in a timely manner (view & download our NDA).
