NANOMYTE® NFPP Cathode Products

NFPP, or Sodium Iron Phosphate Pyrophosphate, is a cathode material for sodium-ion batteries. NEI supplies NFPP (Na4Fe3(PO4)2P2O7) pre-cast cathode electrode sheets/tapes (NAB-65E) on aluminum foil current collectors for immediate cell assembly and testing.

NFPP Electrode Sheets on Al

NANOMYTE® NAB-65E

NANOMYTE® NAB-65E is a cast electrode sheet formulated with NFPP (Sodium Iron Phosphate Pyrophosphate) powder as the active material.

Our standard NAB-65E electrode sheets are 5 inches x 10 inches (127 mm x 254 mm) and cast single-sided on 16 µm thick aluminum foil current collector, or double-sided (NAB-65E-DS) upon request. NEI can also customize NFPP electrodes to your specification, such as active material loading, electrode composition, binder type, current collector, and more.

NAB-65E cathode electrode sheets are available in ready-to-use packages of 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, and 100 sheets (or more).

NFPP Electrodes Safety Information (NAB-65E)

This product is defined as an “Article” under the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200) and the REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006. In its manufactured and shipped form, it does not pose a physical hazard or health risk to humans or the environment.

Precautions for Safe Handling: Appropriate personal protective equipment should be used at all times. Handle in a dry and well-ventilated area. Avoid creasing and folding, or actions that abrade, sand, or grind the coated surface, as this can cause the coating to delaminate or flake off, creating unnecessary dust.

Conditions for Safe Storage: Store sheets flat and in a dry and well-ventilated place, away from heat and moisture —ideally a desiccator or a dry box.

Refer to the Safety Data Sheet for complete information on the safe handling and storage of this material.

About Sodium Iron Phosphate Pyrophosphate (NFPP)

Sodium Iron Phosphate Pyrophosphate (NFPP) is a high-performance mixed-polyanionic cathode material designed for next-generation sodium-ion batteries. Characterized by a rigid framework that enables stable sodium-ion transport, this material delivers exceptional structural integrity, minimal volume change during prolonged cycling, and superior thermal safety. These intrinsic electrochemical advantages make it a strong candidate for advanced energy storage applications where long-term operational reliability is paramount.
