Anode Powder for Lithium-ion Batteries
Titanium Niobium Oxide (TiNb2O7), or “TNO,” is a promising new anode material for lithium-ion batteries. This crystalline mixed metal oxide has attracted significant research interest due to its potential to address some of the limitations of traditional graphite anodes, such as a higher theoretical capacity, which could lead to increased energy density in batteries. TNO has also shown potential for rapid charge and discharge rates, making it suitable for applications requiring high power output.
Although research is onging to fully unlock TNO’s potential for next-generation batteries, this exciting new material shows great promise in enhancing battery performance, such as increased energy density, improved capability rate, enhanced cycle life, and improved safety characteristics.
NEI is pleased to introduce our new polycrystalline Titanium Niobate (TiNb2O7) anode powder – NANOMYTE® BE-600. Our manufacturing process is versatile and allows modifications to the composition, morphology, and particle size. As a result, the material can be tailored to meet the needs of the specific application.
