Lithium Titanate (LTO)

Anode Powders

Lithium Titanate / lithium titanium oxide (Li4Ti5O12, spinel, “LTO”) is an electrode material with exceptional electrochemical stability. It is often used as the anode in lithium ion batteries for applications that require high rate, long cycle life and high efficiency. LTO-based batteries are considered safer and have a wider operating temperature range.

NEI’s NANOMYTE® BE-10 powder consists of LTO particles that are ultrafine and uniform. NANOMYTE® BE-10C is our carbon-coated LTO, capable of high rates. Both powders are produced and stored under inert conditions so as to maintain a pristine particle surface. Our LTO manufacturing process is versatile and allows modifications to the composition, morphology, and particle size. As a result, the material can be tailored to meet the needs of the specific application.

Our Lithium Titanate materials are also available as cast electrode sheets (tapes).
