Graphite Powder
Anode Powder for Lithium-ion Batteries
Graphite is the industry-standard anode material for lithium-ion batteries, valued for its highly ordered, layered crystalline structure that enables reliable lithium-ion intercalation and deintercalation. It delivers a high theoretical specific capacity of 372 mAh/g alongside a low, flat working potential relative to lithium, which maximizes overall cell operating voltage. Additionally, graphite provides excellent electronic conductivity, low volume expansion during cycling, and strong structural stability, ensuring dependable long-term cycle life and high coulombic efficiency across diverse commercial energy storage applications.
Commercial Graphite Powder
NEI’s premium natural graphite anode powder is a cornerstone for high-performance lithium-ion batteries. Our meticulously sourced and processed ABP-200 offers exceptional electrochemical properties, ensuring optimal energy density, cycle life, and rate capability. While NEI doesn’t produce this particular material in-house, you can expect the same quality as our own NANOMYTE® product line. Our graphite also available as a cast electrode sheet (tape / film).
